Ikea!

We visited the Ikea last night. It was just like the stores we know and love back home :) I'm actually convinced it was a little more expensive, but can't say for sure. We didn't do any major shopping, we just picked up some odds and ends. I found some little plants though. I love the little orange one! Does anyone know what it is called? It just said "mixed plant" on the side.

  1. they kind of look like the microgreens that Cameron Mitchell's decorated the beef dish w/ at your wedding - the green part anyhow - I tried looking up "microgreens" and definitely that's what the leaves resemble - not sure if it's of the same family or not - don't eat the berries tho! :)

  2. Haha, I definitely wont eat them! I could see them being micro-greens. That's a good guess. I thought the green part kind of looked like clover. I wonder what micro-greens actually are?

  3. I was wondering if the tiny greens were "baby tears", a sweet little potted plant green. Have no idea what the orange it though. I'd love to know though....maybe you'll see the plant offered again somewhere else with more information. Probably something native to the area. The plant is adorable though.

  4. Love, love, love the heart shaped strings of lights! Wonder if they could come do our pergola arbor for Em's wedding? That would be so cool.

  5. haha, its not a heart shaped string of lights :) that'd be cool though! I just lined tea lights up and took a picture :) I'll keep a look out for any look-a-like little orange plants and let you know if I can find out the name. I'll look up baby tears too, thanks!
